Erica Maity

Erica Maity

Erica Maity currently performs with Curious Comedy's Thunderegg team as well as several indie teams in the Portland area. She began her career in improv in the business world. She had standout performances in several venues, including retail, ("Why Yes, I Can Pretend To Be A Nasty Customer For Training Purposes"), sales ("Sure I Can Give An Hour Long Presentation To Your Boss - What Do You Want Me To Talk About?"), and national and local trade shows ("Oh Damn That Class I'm Teaching Is Tomorrow" and "Sure I Can Lead That Discussion Group - Oh, You'll Tell Me The Topic When I Get There? Ok."). Driving past Curious Comedy one day, she thought, "Hey, that looks fun" and lo, a passion was formed (or a monster was created, if you ask her dog who now gets improvised songs sung at him all day). She is thrilled to be a part of the Curious Comedy community that has been so welcoming to her and she looks forward to many great shows with Thunderegg and more!

Jason Hays

Jason Hays

Jason is originally from Austin, TX and moved to Portland in 2012 in search of cooler weather and more liberal politics. He's performed scripted theatre his whole life in Dallas, New York City, Austin, and Bulgaria. Improv always scared him, so in 2015 he took his first class at Curious. He fell in love quickly and is excited to be part of such a great team. Jason spends his days as a technical writer, a husband, and a parent to 2 very cute kids.

She has lived and worked in Portland, New York City and the Bay Area as an actor, improviser, director, arts administrator and teaching artist. In Portland she made a home at the former Stark Raving Theatre for a bit where being an actor in new works was a joy! In 2010 she received her Master's in Theater Education from N.Y.U and now works for the Northwest Children's Theater bringing theater to students in all parts of the Portland Metro Area. Lately you may have seen her on stage at The Brody Theater in " A Something Kind of Musical": An improvised long form musical AND 2015's Love Struck! She is more than pleased and excited to be a part of the Curious Comedy family and to sing her guts out with Echo Hill!

Rebecca Feldman

Rebecca Feldman

Rebecca Feldman is thrilled to be a part of Thunderegg and the Curious Comedy family. Never in her wildest dreams did she think she would have a fancy picture and a biography on a real website. She was first seduced by the world of improv when she joined her high school’s short-lived yet delightfully named improv team, Ponder the Sheep. Many years later she re-ignited her passion and has performed with a variety of theaters and groups around town. In addition to Thunderegg, she is currently ¼ of the improv hatchling, Add Hawk. When she’s not performing she’s working as a Research Assistant, hosting weekly trivia nights, or sitting on the couch pondering the meaning of life (and of course, the sheep).

Ryan King

Ryan King

Ryan King is a single mother just trying to make it on his own. He started his comedy journey with shortform improv in high school and college. In 2014, he joined Lightbox Ensemble, and shifted his focus to longform. Most recently he’s been performing as one half of metal-improv marauders Death Hammer and becoming more involved in sketch comedy. He’s performed original material on stages across town as part of Buffalo Gals and Analysis Paralysis. He’s beyond excited to join the Curious Comedy empire. He prefers tshirts that don’t have sleeves.
