Audrey Butler

Audrey Butler

Audrey Butler wasn’t made a performer, she was born one. According to Western Astrology, Audrey was born during the week of the theater, and so the stars spoke. She has been acting and performing in school plays since childhood but first fell in love with improv comedy in college. For four years Audrey wrote, performed, and directed in the University of Puget Sounds’ student run improv/sketch group, ‘Ubiquitous They.’ Audrey has traveled the world, taught children professionally, and has run her own business since she was eight. Audrey started taking classes at Curious Comedy in the summer of 2015, and the following May she joined the house team, ‘Ramona.’ She has loved growing and performing with her Ramona teammates. Audrey also writes/performs for ‘Sketch Machine’, the Curious Comedy in-house sketch team. You can also find her performing with the all women’s improv group, ‘Norns.’ Audrey loves to make people laugh and believes that anyone can do improv comedy!

Ben Campbell

Ben Campbell

Ben Campbell's indoctrination into improv comedy began while attending college at University of Illinois. From 2005-2009 he performed with U of I troupe Spicy Clamato. After graduating with BAs in psychology and philosophy, for reasons unknown, Ben vanished from the improv scene without a trace. After five years of radio silence, a chance attendance at one of Curious Comedy's Friday Night Fights marked the end of Ben's improv abstinence, and he's been studying and performing at Curious with wanton abandon ever since. So long as the world still needs him, you may find him onstage as a member of Curious Comedy's house team Ramona, and as one half of the improv duo Bathtub Museum.

Jason Swetzoff

Jason Swetzoff

Jason got his start at Magnet Theatre in New York and wonders why he hadn't found out about improv earlier. Although he started in New York, he is very much a Portland-trained improviser. He has taken most of his classes at the Brody Theatre and at Curious. He also credits all the amazing other improvisers he has seen and worked with. He can't be more excited about being on the Curious House Team Ramona. When he is not on stage at one of the various improv theaters around town you can find Jason exploring the PNW outdoors, climbing, hiking, skiing, working as a UX designer or being lazy.
